TRW’s THAT TIME OF THE YEAR, a musical revue of 25 all-original Christmas, Hanukkah and New Years songs, returns to New York City at the York Theatre. Coinciding with the release of the Original Cast Recording, the show is set for a December 18th-20th run. Comprised of all-original holiday tunes by 7 different composers, the show has lyrics by Laurence Holzman and Felicia Needleman. The show originally played the York in 2006.
The production features a sparkling cast of some of New York’s hottest talent, including Josh Grisetti, Ann Harada and Bridget Beirne. Grisetti (Broadway Bound, Enter Laughing), Harada (Avenue Q, 9 to 5) and Beirne (Lizzie Borden) headline the company with Kerri Jill Garbis and Thom Christopher Warren (The Lion King). Beirne and Garbis are veterans of the 2007 cast of That Time of the Year.The York Theatre Company at The Theatre At Saint Peter’s 619 Lexington Ave, is in the heart of New York and in the heart’s of New York theatre-goers. Celebrating their 40th season, the York’s diverse programming includes their Mainstage Series, The Musicals in Mufti Series, and The Developmental Reading Series. The Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre is presented by the York each year during its spring gala. The Sam Bass Community Theatre (SBCT) has been offering quality live theater to the Round Rock/Georgetown/Austin area for over twenty five years. SBCT is a non-profit organization, run completely by volunteers. They present 6 to 7 productions annually including four mainstage productions and several Youth Guild spotlight productions.
