As TRW’s plucky LUCKY DUCK lands in NYC for a run at the New Victory, composer Henry Krieger granted an interview with TimesSquare.com’s Megan Lohne. In a wide ranging discussion the 67 year-old writer touched on his Broadway and Hollywood successes and the joy of writing for young people as he and the rest of the LUCKY DUCK team, Bill Russell and Jeffrey Hatcher await the opening of LUCKY DUCK, tomorrow night, March 16, 2012.
LUCKY DUCK tells the story of Serena, the ugliest duck in the bardyard, who yearns to be a great singing diva, while she overcomes hilarious avian trials and tribulations in this wacky, ultra-modern adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Ugly Duckling.”
