Ben spent his life as a mechanical engineer, having never stepped foot in a theatre until his granddaughter Maggie’s sophomore year in high school. Her appearance as Gladys Antrobus in THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH changed his life. Maggie’s, too. She fell in love with theatre and is making it her career. Ben fell in love with theatre as well, and has been making up for lost time by attending every play and musical he can, wherever he is, and whether or not Maggie is in it.
