Michael Griffo has written over 20 plays including his latest play, PEN PALS. In addition, Michael has published sixteen novels with Kensington Books including BETWEEN BOYFRIENDS, MURDER IN AN ITALIAN VILLAGE, the first in The Bria Bartolucci Mysteries; The Ferrara Family Mystery Series including MURDER ON MEMORY LAKE; The Archangel Academy Series, a gay YA supernatural trilogy, including UNNATURAL, UNWELCOME, and UNAFRAID and The Darkborn Legacy including MOONGLOW, SUNBLIND, and STARFALL.

His screenplays include HOLIDAY HIGH SCHOOL REUNION, UNCLE MIKE, THE SILVER REINDEER, and THE CHRISTMAS SWAP.

Michael is a magna cum laude graduate of New York University and studied writing at Gotham Writers Workshop, Playwrights Horizons and The New School.
