Mr. Brewer has directed galas for Lincoln Center, Washington National Opera, Park Avenue Armory, The Acting Company, and Adrienne Arsht Center, in addition to The Helen Hayes Awards, Standing Ovation Awards (Kennedy Center), and Hispanic Heritage Awards (aired on PBS). He has directed numerous staged concerts for The American Pops Orchestra, Fairfax Symphony, and West Virginia Symphony. At The New Studio on Broadway at NYU/Tisch, Nathan teaches every student in their first and third year of vocal performance, and has directed productions of Damn Yankees, The Drowsy Chaperone, Urinetown, Cry Baby, and Disaster!. He is the coordinator and professor of Lyric Theatre at The College of New Jersey, and has taught and directed at Penn State, AMDA, Adelphi University, Northwestern University, Westminster Choir College, and Rider University. Assisting credits include Aladdin (Broadway), and Relatively Speaking (Broadway).
