Jeremy finds that adventuring can be lots of fun, but also learns that love and home are treasures you can’t find on any map! The whole family will love this delightful and swashbuckling musical adventure.

HOW I BECAME A PIRATE: Adaptive Edition has been adapted from the original Off-Broadway production. With the permission of the original authors, the Adaptive Edition has been carefully tailored by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman to make the show performance-ready for youth and adults with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities. Script and song lengths have been shortened, and tempos have been adjusted to sit more comfortably for performers. Stage movement and interaction between cast members have been set at a comfortable level, based on pilot productions developed alongside a team of professionals at Metzcor Community Campus in Cincinnati, Ohio.
