Brandon Jay has built a dynamic career at the intersection of rock and screen. After two decades of performing in bands, he transitioned into composing for film and television alongside longtime collaborator Gwendolyn Sanford. Together, they composed music for acclaimed series including Orange is the New Black, Weeds, and American Princess. Their theatre work includes music for the Second Stage Theater’s world premiere of Gruesome Playground Injuries, as well as the original score for the stage musical Romy & Michele.
