In the summer of 1959, greaser Danny Zuko and wholesome Sandy Dumbrowski enjoy a sweet summer romance and part ways believing they will never meet again. When Sandy unexpectedly enrolls at Rydell High and reunites with Danny, their relationship becomes far more complicated.
