Synopsis

Long before he became the world’s most famous playwright, William Shakespeare was simply a dramatist trying to write plays that would keep the theatre open. When sixteen-year-old Ben Shoe discovers the magic of the stage, he runs away to London, where he joins Shakespeare and the Lord Chamberlain’s Men, learning that making theatre requires equal parts imagination, determination, and collaboration. Filled with humor, heart, history, and Shakespeare’s greatest words, NEVER FEAR, SHAKESPEARE is a joyful adventure celebrating the timeless magic of live theatre and the people who make it happen.
