Music Theatre of Wichita just wrapped up its 39th season with a smash production of Curtains. With a cast including both Wichita natives and Broadway veterans, this larger-than-life, multi-layered musical extravaganza left Wichita audiences with a colorful, lively final note to its season full of Broadway classics, including Gypsy and Annie. Year after year, Music Theatre of Wichita provides high-level entertainment by bringing the best of Broadway to Kansas, including TRW’s All Shook Up.

Featured in the cast were Larry Raben, who played Leo in The Producers on Broadway, and Darcie Roberts and Paula Legget Chase, both of the original Broadway cast of Curtains. Not only does Music Theatre of Wichita bring performers of this caliber to their own shows, but they’ve bred some of the most talented stars on Broadway today, including Kelli O’Hara, Matt Bogart, and Kristin Chenowith.
